Important note:

all generated files are stored in "C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp" incase of blender crashing make sure to remove them after you are all done with them.

Shape-e is designed to work with Blender version 3.5 or higher for a Windows operative system. For optimal performance, a good GPU is recommended minimum of 6GB VRAM. Shape-e has been tested and runs well on RTX 2060 and GTX 1660 graphics cards only use Nvidia GPU's since you are loading 300million parameter every time you open blender expect your computer to be strained do to the heavy usage. Please ensure your hardware meets these requirements for the best user experience

## Installation

Follow these steps to install the Shap_E AI Addon:

1. Extract the Shap-E Bundle: Start by extracting the Shap-e_bundle.zip file. This will reveal the Python file needed for the next step.

2. Access AppData: Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog. Type %appdata% and press Enter. This will open the AppData\Roaming directory in your file explorer.

3. Copy the Python File: Locate the Python file from the extracted Shap-e_bundle.zip and copy it into the AppData\Roaming directory.

4. Install the Addon: Open Blender as an administrator. From the Edit menu, select Preferences, then Add-ons, and then Install.... Navigate to the Installer_addon.zip from the Shap-E bundle, select it, and click Install Add-on. Make sure to enable the add-on after installing it.
